Blue Dog Glass is pleased to announce the inaugural Blue Dog Glass Prize. We are opening this competition to all those working with kiln formed glass. For our first year of the prize we have elected to have a themed event: The dinner place setting.
The dinner place setting must consist of at least three pieces: a dinner plate, a side plate and a bowl, which can be made using any kiln forming process. How you wish to interpret this is entirely up to you, we have no size, function, shape or method requirement, so get creative and get your images to us by 9th August 2013.
The prize is open to anyone working with kiln formed glass regardless of experience, with prizes for the most outstanding works. All entries submitted to us will be displayed on our website with the top 20 entries selected by the judges to be displayed at Blue Dog Glass 20th – 22nd August where final judging and people’s choice will take place. The five prize winning entries will be exhibited at Glass Plus Gallery in South Melbourne.
