Bead making Intermediate

For: Students who have completed Beginners Bead Making
Tutor: Kathryn Wardill

Course Outline

Once you have learned the basic glass bead making techniques, this workshop is designed to develop your skills and challenge you even further. We will cover making canes & how to use them, florals, encasing, use of metals, sculptural techniques and hollow beads. All these techniques are designed to increase your confidence and re-ignite your glass bead passions. The class is highly structured and each day there will be a series of demonstrations and then time for students to practice the techniques. Your teacher, Kathryn Wardill, predominantly uses Bullseye Glass to create her work, and is therefore most familiar with this range of glass. Students can bring/use whichever glass they prefer. A comprehensive set of class notes will be provided to each student.
