For: Beginners, no glass cutting involved
Tutor: Brenda Page
Discover a new way to create imagery on glass using glass powders.
Drawing on traditional screen printing processes, this easy-to-learn Powder Printing technique will introduce students to a wide range of creative possibilities using a screen and the extensive colour palette of Bullseye powders. It produces subtle colours, surprisingly clear images and an easy to clean work space (no messy screen printing inks to wash up).
This half day workshop includes a brief talk on how screens are exposed, then students will be able to make a series of four coasters using our pre-exposed images. All materials are provided and the class is ideal for beginners with little or no experience of glass, image making or printing.
