Kathryn Wardill is a Melbourne based contemporary jeweller who received her Master of Arts, Fine Art by research from RMIT University in 1998. As a jeweller and glass artist she has actively participated in group and solo exhibitions internationally for the last 15 years. Wardill’s dedication to researching jewellery objects which combine metal and glass has resulted in a solo exhibition in the USA as a part of an artist in residency in 2010 and new work presented at Studio Ingot Melbourne in August 2010.
Brenda graduated from Monash University in 1992, since then she has exhibited locally and internationally. Specialising in kiln formed glass her passions are casting and imagery in glass. Brenda lives in Melbourne and is the principal teacher at Blue Dog Glass.
I love working with colour and from childhood I have always felt compelled to create with my hands. After journeying through several creative mediums, glass feels like home to me now. I am constantly inspired and challenged both aesthetically and technically by glass with the endless variety of techniques, colours and forms possible.
