About Leigh
I have always been curious. Curious about life, the environment, ideas in general and how to weave all of these together.
Observational drawing for me not only records what I see it starts the process of art making. Drawing as a process is so interesting, to draw, re-draw and correct, so the flow of information become a series of partnerships between marks, an architecture that can be traced. The process becomes the art and no matter what materials you use, the act of drawing is an interrogation between artist and the point of interest.
The work is about fragments of time, object, drawing, and memory. All coming together to tell the story.
