About Brenda
Brenda was introduced to glass while studying fine art at RMIT, she soon transferred to Monash University where she graduated in 1992 with a Bachelor of Ceramic Design majoring in glass. Initially she was attracted to the hot glass studio; however she soon discovered she had an affinity with sculpting and glass casting. She now focuses on sculpture that incorporates screen printed images.
Her professional practice has included numerous workshops with glass artists, acting as a professional studio assistant, running a dedicated glass studio and completing many major commissions. She lives and works in the Dandenong ranges on the outer edge of Melbourne, Australia and regularly exhibits locally and internationally.
