Refine your cast glass work with our specialised 3-day workshop focused on blending glass colours to create a unique colour palette. While the Bullseye Glass colour palette is incredibly beautiful, this class offers you the skills to develop custom colours that align perfectly with your creative vision.

During the workshop, you’ll learn the techniques of blending both billet and frit, expanding the colour range available for glass casting. Using a master silicone mould, each participant will produce 18 refractory moulds, casting 18 distinct colour tests. The class will also cover casting with various frit sizes and powders to achieve different levels of opacity.

In addition to hands-on casting, the course includes instruction on basic finishing techniques and the cataloguing of results. By the end of the workshop, you will not only have 18 completed colour tests but also the knowledge to continue experimenting with colour blending in your own studio, ultimately applying these skills to larger-scale works featuring your own signature colours.

Prerequisite: Participants should have a basic understanding of glass casting. Completion of an introductory casting course is sufficient.

Materials: All necessary materials are included in the cost of the workshop.

Dates and times: Class runs Monday and Tuesday 15th & 16th April 10am -4 pm On Wednesday 17th class will start at 12noon and continue until 4pm
